Kronburg Introduces Youth Activities and the Royal Kronburg Cadet Corps

🔊

The Royal Commonwealth of Kronburg has introduced two separate youth programmes, giving children, teenagers and families new opportunities to learn, create and contribute.

Junior Explorers, ages 6–11, offers creative projects, nature activities and family volunteering. Children under six may participate in guardian-led family activities.

The Royal Kronburg Cadet Corps, ages 12–17, combines leadership, teamwork, Kronburg traditions, ceremonial skills, emergency preparedness and community service. Its two sections are Junior Cadets, ages 12–15, and Senior Cadets, ages 16–17.

HRH Patrick Finerd has approved a distinctive cadet rank structure and blue-and-gold insignia designs, ranging from Cadet Recruit to Cadet Colonel. Promotions will depend on assessed learning, conduct, service and appropriate leadership responsibilities.

Youth participation ends at eighteen. Successful completers receive Cadet Corps Graduate recognition and a record of their earned cadet rank. They may then apply separately for adult service or volunteer opportunities.

Parent and guardian expressions of interest are open. Organised cadet sessions will begin only after approved staffing, safeguarding arrangements and activity permissions are in place. Participation is voluntary, and citizenship is not required.
