Notice is given that, at the direction of HRH Patrick Finerd, Sovereign Prince of Kronburg, the Young Kronburg programme is presented through separate public pages for Junior Explorers, ages 6–11, and the Royal Kronburg Cadet Corps, ages 12–17.
The Cadet Corps comprises Junior Cadets, ages 12–15, and Senior Cadets, ages 16–17. The Sovereign’s approval of the cadet rank structure and associated insignia design is recorded on 21 October 2026. This structure replaces the earlier four-grade cadet system.
Cadet ranks are internal youth programme designations. They confer no adult military commission, public office, enforcement authority or independent responsibility for supervising children.
Youth cadet membership ends at eighteen. Successful completion of the programme requirements earns Cadet Corps Graduate recognition, with the participant’s final earned cadet rank recorded. Adult service and instructor appointments require separate approval.
The published programme rules cover guardian permission, voluntary youth participation, safeguarding, conduct, records and activity readiness. Approval of the framework and insignia does not appoint personnel, award individual ranks, authorise expenditure or commence organised training.
The Corps remains an independent civilian micronational programme with ceremonial KDF affiliation. It is not an official JROTC programme.
The Cadet Corps page and programme rules and approval record provide the published details.
